Upcoming Events Mar 27, 2010 - More Signature Ride Info BentLovers & Friends Have you ever ridden 20 miles on your bicycle? Then, we know you can ride 40 miles! Got 40 miles under your belt? We know you can get to 80 miles! Done a century or two? Why not try one a day? Whichever launch point you choose, we are motivated to help motivate you because we see individual mileage records broken on a regular basis! Kind of like a surprise win of an Olympic Medal! Here is an agenda for the 2010 Signature Ride in a few weeks!! Signature Ride Weekend Agenda Send in your form now so we can plan better. Fax it to 601 992-1004. Friday March 26: Meeting at Ride South 6-7 PM. Come if you can for last minute details, sign waiver, bring checks and pick up route cue cards. Saturday March 27: Ride South launch at 7:00 AM! Please arrive early! Have day bag(small enough to hold in lap on return) or overnight bag for SAG vehicle. -or- Hattiesburg Holiday Inn launch at 10:00 AM! (Holiday Inn is at intersection of I-59 and US 49, a few miles from the Longleaf Trace.) Lunch available at Prentiss from 1:00 PM - until everyone arrives. (Anyone driving to Prentiss willing to transport sandwiches from Reservoir Quizno's?) Prentiss Launch at 2:00 PM! Finish at Hattiesburg Holiday Inn back parking lot! Check in for tee shirts, medals and reception! Great pickin' & fiddlin' entertainment inside Holiday Inn when Capt. Johnny Rawls & Jack McGee arrive!!! Restaurant opens at 5:00 PM. Shuttle (if necessary) leaves for Ride South shop at 7:00 PM. Sunday March 28: Holiday Inn breakfast opens at 7:00 AM. (On your own.) Hattiesburg Holiday Inn launch at 8:00 AM! Lunch stop at McGee Shell station. (On your own.) Finish at Ride South by 6:00 PM! Good Ride!! The cost of the ride is $15 for Longleaf Trace starts only, and $15 each for Ride South starts and Hattiesburg Sunday starts. Lunch is $5 and Jackson shuttle cost is $15 (please pre-arrange). Ride South will provide tee shirts, medals and reception refreshments at the Hattiesburg Holiday Inn back parking lot, beginning at about 4 PM. Dinner and breakfast are on your own. We plan to have SAG vehicles both days and Highway Patrol escort on Saturday. There are plenty of fuel and restroom stops along the way, on both routes. The routes are linked below at the bottom of the form. We will need you to sign a waiver at each launch point. Please pay by check or cash.
