Journal Entry Jan 28, 2003 Sunday, we watched the sun sit on the winter horizon and slowly disappear behind the tree-lined reservoir One of the many pleasures of cycling is the serenity of Nature parading by on all sides. For the last few Sundays we have ridden Round th' Rez or the Holly Bush Loop, timing our return across the causeway to watch the sunset. Even though temperatures were in the 30's, the work required kept the body warm enough to enjoy the quiet pastures and rolling hills of Holly Bush and the Reservoir in total comfort. Sunday, we watched the sun sit on the winter horizon and slowly disappear behind the tree-lined reservoir as we made our way across the old railroad trestle, turned causeway. It really is nice to enjoy the simple pleasures of Nature . . . under your own power! View All Journal Entries |
