The Last Time

As we begin a new unit of time, it seems appropriate to reflect on the last time:

When was the last time you rode your bicycle? When was the last time you felt the cool, brisk air expand your lungs, over and over? When was the last early morning you marveled at the form fitting, down vests the different waterfowl wore, as some dove about in the steamy reservoir and others flew overhead in a giant V, headed south? How about a huge metal rooftop completely covered with white birds catching the first rays of the sun? When was the last time you spent minutes looking up at the blue sky and shapely clouds while zipping down the Trace on your bicycle? Remember the last time you found a better hill that got your heart pounding against your chest so hard it sounded for all the world like a flat tire thump, thump, thumping? How about the last time you reached out to someone on the bike trail, and made a new friend? Do you recall the last time you were glad to return from a long ride, but really were not ready to get off your bicycle?
Well, if you can't remember the last time, we hope it is just because there are so many good times to remember. If, however, you need to reload your memory bank, remember we are riding every Saturday morning and every Sunday afternoon from the Ride South shop. In the spring, we will ride Tuesday and Thursday evenings, as well. We hope you will continue to have more smiles than miles, no matter how far you go this year and will continue to remember that Ride South is The Way to Ride!

Thank You for Your Support and Happy New Year!
