a beautiful, tree lined road over bridges and through rural Rankin County with lots of friendly waves from porch sitters

Yesterday afternoon (Sunday), we found a great 34 mile loop in Rankin county out Holly Bush road, down Haynes Chapel Road, up Lake Road and back on Holly Bush. We will call this the Holly Bush Loop in the future, as its sure to be a hit by all! Holly Bush is a straight road with a few easy hills and not too much traffic. Haynes Chapel is a beautiful, tree lined road over bridges and through rural Rankin County with lots of friendly waves from porch sitters. Lake Road is a newly paved, smooth, tree canopied, straight road!! We saw only one car for miles of excellent riding on Lake Road! Danny (V2), Mark (Stratus), and myself (Strada) had a great mix of leisurely and fast riding to beat the heat on a near perfect Sunday ride! We hope more BentLovers will join us for future rides there!

We still have some Hobie Kayaks ready to take your breath away on the Rez for the Fourth! It is a great workout and a really cool way to go fast on the water in a recumbent position, using pedals, paddles, sails or any combination of human and wind power you wish!

We will be in Alabama, with family, Wednesday PM through Friday. You can still reach us by phone at the shop numbers below, if you have bike or boat needs for the weekend. We have new bikes coming in all the time now, so come visit our shop often. We are also exhibiting in the first ever Rankin County Consumer Expo at Hinds Community College, Rankin Campus on July 16th, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM (Tuesday). Come by the booth and receive $10 off your next purchase!

Save the date of October 19th and 20th for the MS150 Bike Tour. Call the shop for more details.
