Journal Entry Dec 7, 2009 Ride South? Bread Ride Report & Hobie catch! BentLovers & Friends Well, we waited for you. . . for a short while! The air was invigorating and the scenery was breathtaking! Southern snow blowing off the trees and quiet passages over the trails, with only the occasional light crunching sound as skinny tires deftly tracked through the inch thick, virgin snow on the bike trail bridges. That was our Rise & Shine Bread Ride last Saturday morning! Hot bread and hot tea were welcomed after the short, but memorable 20 miler. We hope you were able to get out and enjoy the snow as well! This coming Saturday promises to be only an ordinary Mississippi winter day, but we hope you will still see fit to join us on the Bread Rides! We leave at 7:30 AM and return by 9:45 AM, which leaves practically the whole day to do chores and Christmas shop! Of course you can shop here as we have lots of cool stuff and gift certificates for the extraordinary cyclists and kayakers on your list!
